This presentation will discuss how the recovery process is unique for Native Americans, and the importance of culture in peer services. It will explore the history of Native peer support and the progress of peer programs in Oklahoma. We will highlight the importance of the culture, connection, and decolonization by examining The Indian Country Peer Recovery Specialist ECHO program (Peer ECHO). During this overview, we will provide a sample Peer ECHO case presentation.
