Mental health diagnoses increased 15% during the COVID-19 pandemic in Washington, D.C., according to a new report prepared by the Georgetown University Center for Global Health Science & Security. The study also found alarming gaps in the present ability to track and assess behavioral health needs across all demographic categories, even though the report's results on access to mental health care offer priceless insight into District of Columbia wellbeing.
