The effects of gun violence in Allegheny County, Pennsylvania are well known to the students at Youth Enrichment Services (YES). Teens' suggestions for lowering gunfire around the county are included in the organization's "Reducing Gun Violence in Our Community: Teen Voices and Visions" study, which was published last month. YES spent a year training youth to heal from the trauma of gun violence and become advocates for promoting solutions, and the report is the result of their work.
