U.S. Department of Education Awards Bowie State $5 Million Grant to Diversify Pipeline of School Counselors

Federal funding awarded to Bowie State University will provide graduate students who want to become school counselors as well as school-based mental health professionals with training in culturally sensitive counseling. This opportunity will better prepare school counselors for employment in the Montgomery, Prince George's, and Anne Arundel county school systems.
