Burnout is a complex issue resulting from chronic workplace stress that encompasses exhaustion, depersonalization, and reduced personal accomplishment. This guide highlights organization-level interventions to prevent and reduce burnout among behavioral health workers. SAMHSA and the MHTTC Network will host a webinar on September 20 that will highlight findings from this guide, and representatives from organizations featured in the guide’s case studies will discuss development of their policies or programs to address burnout.
