This 2-Day introduction to DBT training is intended for people who serve adults through CMH, CMH Service Providers, PIHP, and PIHP providers in the state of Michigan who are interested in learning the theoretical underpinnings of the treatment. It will explain what the key ingredients are in DBT that make up its empirical base. A basic overview of the original DBT skills will be covered along with how to structure and format skills training groups. This training is targeted toward those who are new to DBT with limited experience and who are looking to fulfill the pre-requisite to attend more comprehensive DBT training in the future.
