Help Prevent Suicide
The CDC reports that suicide is the 10th leading cause of death for Americans overall and the second leading cause of death among young people aged 10-24.
During September, National Suicide Prevention Awareness Month, organizations and community groups across the country work together to increase awareness and and share resources. Organizations such as the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) encourage everyone to know the warning signs and risk factors of suicide.
