Join the Ohio Association of County Behavioral Health Authorities (OACBHA) for our first virtual Opiate Conference, Ohio’s 2021 Opiate and Other Drugs Conference: Exploring Better Pathways for Care. Hosted by the Ohio Association of County Behavioral Health Authorities, in partnership with the Ohio Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services and the Ohio Department of Rehabilitation and Correction, this year’s conference will take place virtually on May 11-13, 2021.

 Keynote presentations will include:

  • May 11 - Tired, Wired, Mired, and Inspired: Strategies for Preventing Burnout and Compassion Fatigue in the Midst of Catastrophes and Pandemics (Mark Sanders, Great Lakes Addiction Technology Transfer Center)
  • May 12 - Why You Should Care About the Genetics of Addiction: Implications for Prevention, Intervention, and Treatment (Dr. Danielle Dick, Virginia Commonwealth University)
  • May 13 - That's About White: Integrating Anti-Racism Within Addiction Treatment (Dr. Sherrá Watkins, American University of the Caribbean School of Medicine)
