The Mid-America MHTTC's Moving Towards Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinics (CCBHC) Webinar Series continues this spring with the addition of two new webinars.

On April 7, Topher Hanson will present CCBHCs: Why, Who, and How. Hanson is the chief executive officer of CenterPointe, a Nebraska-based non-profit that provides community members with co-occurring mental health and substance use treatment. During the presentation, Hanson will go over the mission of CCBHCs, the implementation model for service delivery, and the roles and responsibilities of CCBHC team members.

The following month on May 5 we will be joined by Renee Boak, MPH, for her presentation CCBHC: Understanding the National Landscape, the Model, and the Opportunities. Boak is a consultant for the National Council for Mental Wellbeing, with a specialization in CCBHC implementation. During Boak's session, participants can expect to learn about the history of CCBHCS, as well as the requirements for these clinics.

Each session is free to attend, and will qualify for continuing education credit for physicians, physician assistants, psychologists, nurse practitioners and nurses.
