The MHTTC Network is gearing up for the November Grief Sensitivity Virtual Learning Institute, occurring 11 a.m. to 4:45 p.m. Nov. 12-13.

The learning institute, entitled Applying Concepts to Practice, is geared toward providing front-line workers with tools and strategies that can be used when addressing the needs of individuals experiencing grief and loss during COVID-19 and beyond. It will feature the same speakers from the Grief Sensitivity Virtual Learning Institute held in September, provide more in-depth learning, and help attendees apply foundations learned during the first institute with patients, students, families, and more. Attendance at the September institute is not required for attending this month.

Institute leaders will acknowledge Veteran’s Day at the beginning of Day 1 and offer strategies to cope with holiday-related grief at the beginning of Day 2.
