Tele-behavioral health consultation series adds two new webinars

The Mid-America MHTTC's Tele-Behavioral Health Consultation (TBHC) Primary Care Webinar Series continues this April and May with two new sessions. 

 

The first new session is What You Need To Know About Section 504 Plans, which will be presented by Graciela Sharif and Kristin Flott on April 12, at 12 p.m. CT on Zoom. The two will cover the importance of the 504 Plan, as well as discuss who qualifies for one. They will also identify the role of the physician, individual and school in these plans, as well as recognize opportunities for supporting those with 504 Plans. Our May session is Evidence Based Psychotherapy and Medication Management for Skin Picking and Other Repetitive Behaviors on May 10, 12 p.m. CT. Presented by Dr. Allison DeLizza and Dr. Ryan Edwards, this webinar will go through the criteria for skin picking and other repetitive behavior disorders, as well as common differential diagnoses. Additionally, the pair will discuss Habit Reversal Therapy, behavioral intervention for repetitive behavior disorders, and evidence-based medication interventions. To learn more about this topic, our speakers, and register for the event, click here

 

Both of these sessions are free to attend, and qualify for continuing education credit for physicians, physicians assistants, nurses and nurse practitioners.
