Event Description
This training will review models of suicide behavior, assessment tools, and ways to mitigate suicide risk through clinical and cultural intervention.
Trainer
Julio Brionez, Ph.D.

Julio Brionez, Ph.D., is a licensed psychologist in Wyoming, Colorado, and Montana. He primarily serves at the UWYO university counseling center and in his private practice, JB LLC. Dr. Brionez is a first-generation college student, identifies as Latino, male, and uses he/him pronouns. He specializes in the treatment and prevention of suicide and uses interventions from acceptance and commitment therapy and cognitive therapies.
