This session is only available to attendees of the  Wyoming Association of Special Education Administrators Conference. 

This session will provide an overview of the Trauma Responsive Schools Theory of Change (TRSTC) Toolkit, how to use the needs assessment tool, strategies to practice self-compassion and self-care, and an overview of the Mountain Plains MHTTC resources. 

 

Participants will:

 

  • Learn and practices strategies to reduce stress and increase wellness.
  • Learn about the TRSTC toolkit and how to use the needs assessment tool.

Stefanie Winfield, MSW

stefanie-winfieldStefanie Winfield is the School Mental Health Coordinator for the Mountain Plains MHTTC and a Research and Technical Assistance Associate with the WICHE Behavioral Health Program. As the school mental health lead, her work focuses on providing intensive technical assistance and training to educators, teachers, administrators, and school staff on ways to improve and enhance school mental health. Stefanie has extensive experience working in schools promoting youth sexual health, conflict and anger management, behavioral health education, and school-based health care.
