On Monday, April 29th, New England-MHTTC and Yale University hosted the Childhood-Trauma Learning Collaborative (C-TLC) Kick-off Meeting. Aside from the opportunity to network with other specialists in the field, attendees were also able to further their knowledge on topics, such as: the science behind trauma, the challenges of the opioid epidemic and other drug addiction, and options for intervention with children and youth. Mindfulness and compassion in schools were also a major focus throughout the event.
