​​​​​​Online Series: Providing Culturally Responsive Care and Addressing Cross-Cultural Barriers in Early Psychosis

 

A series of online meetings to discuss topics of cultural diversity in the context of early psychosis and clinical high-risk populations with a combination of webinars and discussions similar to the previous EPLC online discussion series with a presentation (around 30-45 minutes) followed by 30-45 minutes of questions and discussion by participants.

 

The series includes case examples/discussions by presenters with topics including examples such as:

  • Challenges for providers in the context of cultural diversity
  • Strategies for providing culturally competent care to diverse populations
  • Challenges in diagnoses across various cultures
  • The stigma associated with psychosis/mental health across different cultures
