This learning opportunity will introduce participants to an evidence-based parenting program known as The Incredible Years® (IY). The webinar will describe the IY program, its focus, child and parent outcomes and its targeted audience. Additionally, the webinar will describe an upcoming opportunity to receive FREE training and support in the implementation of The Incredible Years® program. Through a collaboration with the Texas Health and Human Services Commission, the South Southwest MHTTC will support several Local Mental Health Authorities to pilot the IY program. This webinar is free and open to the public, but targeted to mental health providers serving children ages 3 to 12 years old and their families.

The Incredible Years® evidence based parenting programs focus on strengthening parenting competencies and fostering parent involvement in children’s school experiences, to promote children’s academic, social, and emotional skills and reduce conduct problems.
