Meet the Team: Cara Santucci, Communications Strategist
My name is Cara Santucci and I joined the South Southwest MHTTC team to work on communications. I am a proud graduate of the University of Texas at Dallas, and was most recently working at the Texas State House before coming here. My background is largely in government and politics, although I have also worked in the nonprofit world and in journalism.
I am so excited to be working with the South Southwest’s other communications expert, Jameson Cardenas, to promote the great work being done here. Since joining the team in August of 2019, I have focused on: creating and publishing a consistent newsletter; promoting our events and products; running our social media; and collaborating with others to discuss branding and content strategy for the grant as a whole.
Going forward, I am excited to be working with the team to create a larger branding project that will help organize and contextualize our areas of focus, as well as make our products easily identifiable.
I love to work collaboratively in team environments, and am so excited to be here and to learn more about the behavioral health workforce.
Please be sure to follow us on social media (@sswmhttc on Facebook and Twitter) and to sign up for our newsletter to stay up-to-date on all the great work we do!
