COVID-19 Disparities Webinar: How to Support Racial & Ethnic Minority Students

This webinar, presented by Dr. Briana Woods-Jaeger, will examine the various adversities experienced by racial and ethnic minority students as a result of the outbreak COVID-19. Additionally, this webinar will highlight how teachers and school staff can provide support to students disproportionately affected by incorporating cultural humility practices in a school/classroom setting.
 
By the end of the webinar, participants will be able to:

  1. Understand the disproportionate impact of COVID-19 on racial and ethnic minority students
  2. Learn how cultural humility can support addressing COVID-19 disparities
  3. Describe how to incorporate cultural humility into preparations for returning to school in the fall
