Peer Services Consultation Office Hours: Cultural competence, cultural awareness, and cultural integrity

Expert consultants devote the first segment of each hour-long session to a specific topic and then address questions pre-submitted by registrants. The Southeast MHTTC’s Consultation Office Hours provide intensive service, staff and operations consultation, and allow for an engaging Q&A session between the experts and participants.

Meet the Experts: Georgia Mental Health Consumer Network (GMHCN) is a nationally recognized leader in developing and implementing peer support services. A grassroots nonprofit agency which has been led and run by mental health peers for over 25 years, GMHCN provides advocacy, education and training in the area of peer services across the state of Georgia. GMHCN provides consultation and training to Region IV states in the areas of training and credentialing certified peer specialists.
