MHTTC National School Mental Health Learning Collaborative
The MHTTC Network Coordinating Office and the (NCSMH) at the University of Maryland School of Medicine are co-facilitating a National School Mental Health Learning Collaborative focused on improving school mental health and safety policies and practices. The National SMH Learning Collaborative consists of a 2-day intensive in-person learning session and 6 virtual learning sessions from March-August 2019. Participants will include staff across the twelve MHTTC Centers as well as state mental health and education leaders.
The MHTTC Network Coordinating Office is also working with the NCSMH to develop and release a national school mental health training curriculum focused on the core components of comprehensive school mental health. The curriculum will include trainer and participant manuals, online webinar segments, and guidance and tools to advance the implementation of school mental health services.
