Ethics: Part II

The Great Lakes MHTTC is offering this training in partnership with the Ohio Association of County Behavioral Health Authorities.

This two-hour interactive session is a follow-up to Dr. Michael Gillette's ethics training held on July 27, 2020.

Ethics: Part II is a continuation of the initial training's discussion around issues relating to budgeting ethics and the allocation of scarce resources. The training will examine in greater depth the way that concepts of efficiency, effectiveness, equality, and equity may properly be applied to the process of macro-allocation. This training is intended for Board senior leadership.

Learning Objectives:

  • To define the ethical implications of individual choice and responsibility.
  • To identify the key ethical values that impact decisions about the distribution of scarce resources.
