We all aspire to high levels of happiness, yet this is a goal that evades many of us. What should we know if we too aim to become a happy—or a happier—person? In this four-hour workshop, Dr. Pelin Kesebir will answer this question, relying on the latest findings from well-being research. At the conclusion of the workshop, participants will have a better sense of where well-being lies and how it can be cultivated through small, daily activities.

Pelin Kesebir, Ph.D.
Fellow, Center for Healthy Minds, University of Wisconsin–Madison
Dr. Pelin Kesebir received her doctoral degree in Social Psychology and Personality Psychology from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 2009. She is a fellow at the Center for Healthy Minds at the University of Wisconsin–Madison. Dr. Kesebir studies happiness and character strengths, and the different ways in which we can cultivate well-being. She is originally from Istanbul, Turkey.
