National Opioid and Substance Awareness Day, held on September 21, 2021, will feature a virtual town hall event from 12:00–3:00 pm EDT, where participants will learn from experts and from those with lived experience about substance misuse, treatment, and the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic. Participants will be able to take free, anonymous, online screenings for themselves or a loved one. For those who screen positive or still have concerns about substance use, there will be referrals to local treatment resources. To learn more about the town hall event or to register, click here.
