The Mid-America MHTTC team made their way to Seward, NE, in late March for the Four Corners Health Department's Building Resilience to Strengthen Youth and Family event.

Mid-America MHTTC Trainers Dr. Kaitlyn Young and Eliza Godfrey presented on Evidence Based Practices for Building Resilient Families. They discussed: 

• The impact of stress on child development
• Components of a resilient family
• How families can buffer impacts of stressors
• How schools and communities can promote resilient families
