The National American Indian and Alaska Native Prevention TTC has just published a new toolkit titled Research at the Speed of Trust: A guide for researchers and Native communities. The guide offers guiding principles for Native and non-Native researchers who wish to work with Indigenous communities on research projects, as well as resources for Indigenous communities to ensure any research they approve meets appropriate communities needs and standards. Topics include Two-Eyed Seeing, Community-Based Participatory Research, types of Institutional Review Boards, and informed consent.

The guide also includes a companion pocket guide, Understanding Tribal Sovereignty: Seeking approval for prevention and research efforts.
