University of Washington's Behavioral Health Institute is holding the 3rd Annual Conference Sep 29 - 30, 2022

Re-Imagining Behavioral Health: Race, Equity and Social Justice

This amazing conference explores the intersectionality of substance use disorders, mental health, and social justice. The 2-half day virtual conference is designed to empower individuals and teams who want to advance health equity and support diversity and inclusion in behavioral health care.

Attending the conference provides an opportunity to connect with others and join in a meaningful conversation about healing racial trauma, dismantling racism, combating systemic racism and social injustices through the lens of mental health and substance use issues.

The Conference Planning Committee

The conference is led by the Behavioral Health Institute at Harborview and is funded by the Washington State Health Care Authority. The conference is a collaborative effort by design. The planning committee includes partners, thought leaders and experts in the fields of race, equity, and social justice located throughout Washington state.
