Community of Practice

  • Mental Health & Addiction Association of Oregon Community of Practice Mailing List Registration. Peer support specialists and other peer worker types and their supervisors from Oregon, Washington, Idaho, and Alaska are invited to join the Mental Health & Addiction Association of Oregon for this community of practice series. Two community of practice (CoP) events will occur monthly, with one-hour group discussion and training for the two respective groups: peer support specialists and those who supervise peer workers. The focus will be on enhancing skills of the peer workforce and its supervisors, strengthening understanding of peer roles, discussing peer practices, and building a community of peer workers and supervisors across Oregon, Washington, Idaho, and Alaska! The monthly CoPs are supported by the Northwest Mental Health Technology Transfer Center.
