Home > FAQs about the Mental Health Institute for WA Providers
Any person providing services in Washington State.
You may register for any/all sessions in any track, but space is limited as they are meant to be interactive.
Ideally, people will have their own camera/microphone/computer as breakout rooms and interactive parts will be part of most all the sessions. However, we don't want this to be a barrier for participation.
If you do not have access to your own computer/camera, you do have the option to use the Zoom app on a mobile device or smartphone. There is also the option to make a phone call and listen in, audio-only. The email confirmation message from Zoom will include the phone number to call and the digits to input to connect to the meeting.
If you need to watch as a group from one computer or a conference room, EACH PERSON does need to register and input their name into the chat in at the beginning/end of the session so we know you attended per our CE guidelines.
Sessions will not be recorded. If you attended any of the IDD track sessions and recordings are made available, you'll be notified by email.
Slides as well as materials (e.g. handouts/resources mentioned) are planned to be available and will be linked from the event page. The event page remains accessible after it has occurred.
We have a brief online "GPRA + REDCap" survey for all sessions that is shared in the event and after via a reminder email. This survey provides invaluable feedback as it helps our training team, our planners and more importantly it keeps this free training coming! We REALLY appreciate your input and it's all confidential.
If you want CEs or CMEs, you must complete and pass a short knowledge quiz for each session (see below for details).
All attendees can get a Certificate of Attendance if they are registered and attend--an email will come with instructions.
Contact hours will be available on a per-session basis; participants must attend the entire session.
