We believe there is no health without mental health and that by training psychiatrists and other healthcare providers in evidence-based integrated care, we will increase the access to effective mental health care across HHS Region 10: Alaska, Idaho, Oregon, and Washington State. Our mission is to improve the health of our communities by preparing and supporting a workforce to advance effective, integrated behavioral health care.
TARGET AUDIENCE: Psychiatric consultants, such as psychiatrists, psychiatric nurse practitioners, and psychiatric physician assistants currently practicing or planning to practice as a psychiatric consultant doing integrated care. The PCLC is designed for psychiatric providers seeking additional training to deliver integrated care in community-based settings.
The one-hour sessions are offered once a month, with a short didactic presentation followed by questions and discussion on a variety of integrated care topic. Sessions are held on the fourth Tuesday of the month from 12:00-1:00 pm Pacific.
