Free Air Purifier Program for Tribes

Published:
June 15, 2023

To support Tribes impacted by wildfires and other smoke events, the National Indian Health Board (NIHB) is working with partners to provide free air purifiers to Tribal Nations. Through a limited-time program, Tribes and Tribal organizations can obtain HEPA-certified air purifiers for residential homes, classrooms, gyms, community centers, etc., to reduce airborne allergens such as pollen and capture bacteria, viruses and smoke from wildfires and other smoke events at no costs.

To be eligible to receive air purifiers, you must include a disaster declaration as part of the request form.

For more information on the air purifier partners, instructions on how to receive free air purifiers, or to see which purifiers work best for you, visit NIHB’s website or email Audrianna Marzette at [email protected].
