Northwest MHTTC featured in upcoming Elevate issue from the Public Health Learning Network

We were selected via abstract submission for their Fall 2022 edition, and the publication will be focused on Leadership Development in Public Health. Our article is titled, "Training and Supporting Healthcare Leadership during the COVID Pandemic," and is authored by Christina Clayton, LICSW, SUDP, Kira Mauseth, Ph.D., Lydia Chwastiak, MD, MPH and Jonathan Olson, Ph.D.

Abstract language at present: "Throughout the pandemic, the behavioral health experiences of leaders across sectors of healthcare and public health have received renewed attention. Challenges related to staffing shortages, budget cuts, masking and vaccine mandates, and 'the great resignation' from public health fields have combined to significantly increase the daily stressors and conditions that leaders already face. Understanding and processing these challenges has been the unique focus of a series of professional training opportunities offered by the Northwest Mental Health Technology Transfer Center (MHTTC)."
