This two-day forum is a technical assistance activity of the Center on PBIS and provides an opportunity for the Center to share information on the latest applications of PBIS. It has been designed to help school, state, district, and regional Leadership Teams, together with community and family partners, increase the effectiveness of school environments through PBIS.

Event Overview:

Sessions are organized into blocks of single-topic breakout sessions and topic-specific strands and will provide guidance and tools for strengthening prevention-based systems that support the social, emotional, and behavioral needs of students to ensure engagement in learning. Opportunities for dialogue and sharing with other implementers will be provided.

Who Should Attend:

This forum is organized for school, state, district, or regional leadership teams adopting and implementing school-wide PBIS. Participants may include leadership team members, implementation coaches and coordinators, district- and school-based behavior specialists (e.g., school counselors, school psychologists, special educators, coaches), PBIS trainers, program evaluators, school and district administratorscommunity and family youth-serving system partners and district and state policy makers and leaders.

Participants will gain knowledge in improving their implementation and evaluation, how to develop and obtain professional development on a range of topics, and how to best organize and deliver training and coaching for their schools, districts, and other stakeholders. Leadership teams are encouraged to engage in self-assessment and action-planning related to their session and strand selections.
