Understanding and Responding to Kids in Distress - Webinar and Toolkits

Join the Administration for Children and Families (ACF) and the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) in Region 8 (CO, WY, UT, ND, SD, MT) for a training to learn how to understand and respond to children’s emotional distress and traumatic stress reactions. This training is open to a broad audience; for caregivers and professionals who interact with children, and anyone who is interested in learning these strategies. The training provides information, strategies, and activities to help caregivers and professionals quickly respond to the emotional needs of children and families in crisis. Participants will also receive a resource toolkit as part of the training to use as a reference tool.
