Reaching Rural and Frontier Communities During COVID-19

Reaching Rural and Frontier Communities During COVID-19: COVID-19 Office Hour Sessions

This pandemic has only amplified the demand on already scarce healthcare access in rural and frontier communities across our nation. The unique experiences of rural, agricultural and tribal communities have dramatically increased the need for expanded mental and behavioral health services, but how do we grow and scale our already limited services to address this growing need? This session will address different strategies and ideas to reach rural and frontier communities. The panelists will represent tribal and rural health providers and team members from our Mountain Plains Mental Health Technology Transfer Center Network.
