The Pacific Southwest MHTTC’s new series of topical resource kits is designed to help you find high-quality resources on caring for yourself, your loved ones, and the communities you serve. Explore the topics below for curated tools, trainings, and virtual or phone-based supports.

Please feel free to use and share the resource kits, which will be updated on an ongoing basis.

  • Supporting Your Mental Health & Managing Your Stress and Anxiety

    Self-care resources, coping strategies, and anxiety management tips that anyone can use, plus tools for people living with a mental health condition.


  • For Providers

    Trainings and guidance for health care providers, mental health practitioners, and social workers. Resources on the topics of telehealth, grief, COVID-19 communications, and supporting older adults.


  • For Parents, Families, and Caregivers

    Links to articles about coping strategies, caring for family members, and talking to children about COVID-19, plus support groups and warmlines.


  • For Diverse Populations and Providers Who Support Them

    Including racially and ethnically diverse populations; older adults; LGBTQIA+ communities; people living with HIV; people with disabilities; immigrant and undocumented communities; and college students and young adults.


  • Hotlines, Helplines, and Support Groups

    Numbers for crisis hotlines, warmlines, and informational/referral helplines, including lines for specific populations (e.g., first responders, older adults, caregivers). Links to online support groups.


  • Substance Abuse Recovery

    Co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders are common. This resource sheet provides tools for substance use treatment and recovery providers, individuals in recovery, and family and friends.
