Optum is approved to offer CEU credit for the following licensure types: LCSW, LMFT and LPC. They will email the CEU certificates to the email used for registration within 1-2 weeks of the event. Paraprofessionals may use these as their certificates of completion. Each person planning to attend must register and log in themselves to receive credit, even if listening in the same room. Please refer to each session’s description for CEU details.

While there are continuing education credits being offered for Idaho clinicians, there wouldn’t be a guarantee for out-of-state clinicians with their licensing boards.

Kelcey Schmitz, The Northwest MHTTC School Mental Health Director, will present: Supporting School Mental Health: An Introduction to the Northwest MHTTC.

About The Session:
The School Mental Health supplement to the Northwest Mental Health Technology Transfer Center, funded in 2018 by SAMHSA, has allowed for the expansion of training and technical assistance on evidence-based, school-based and school-linked mental health services in Alaska, Oregon, Washington, and Idaho.  This regional effort is being led from the University of Washington's School Mental Health Assessment, Research and Training Center, a national leader in developing and supporting implementation of evidence-based practices (EBPs) in schools, including prevention, early intervention, and intensive supports. This session will introduce participants to new school mental health training packages and other web-based resources, tools, and materials that clinicians, and district and school teams can use at no cost to build capacity for implementing school mental health across all three tiers.
