About the Event:

Co-sponsored by the MHTTC Network Coordinating Office, Teachers Fest 2021 is being held on Saturday, June 26th from 7:00-10:00pm EDT.

There are over 3.7 million teachers in the United States and their efforts warrant acknowledgement. Teachers deserve to be celebrated for their hard work especially for the sacrifices that they are making during the pandemic - adapting to virtual learning, serving as frontline workers, and attending to the needs of their communities.

This year's virtual extravaganza is built around presentations from A-List celebrities, motivational speaker segments, special recognition as well as other sessions that prioritize self-care, health, entertainment & giveaways.

Among the many ways Teachers Fest will be celebrating educators, you will also learn more about Classroom WISE, Well-Being Information and Strategies for Educators.

Classroom WISE is a FREE 3-part training package that assists K-12 educators in supporting the mental health of students in the classroom. Developed by the Mental Health Technology Transfer Center (MHTTC) Network in partnership with the National Center for School Mental Health, this package offers strategies and skills to engage and support students with mental health concerns in the classroom. In addition to a free online course on mental health literacy for educators and school personnel, a video library and resource collection are also available!

Learn more on Classroom WISE and stay in the loop here.
