This webinar will discuss how to identify key links between opioids and suicide and how to prevent both by utilizing crisis management and suicide prevention models.
Scott Lewis, PhD, has over twenty years of experience in mental health and substance use treatment. He has worked as a crisis clinician and outpatient co-occurring disorder therapist. His managerial experience has included supervising an outpatient dual diagnosis clinic, administrator for a long-term residential substance abuse rehabilitation center and is currently the Program Director for the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center Western Psychiatric Hospital’s inpatient, dual diagnosis and trauma units. He received his bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Penn State University, his masters degree in professional counseling from Carlow University, and his doctorate in counseling education and supervision from Duquesne University.
