Improving outcomes for adults with serious mental illness (SMI) and/or co-occurring disorders and children with serious emotional disturbance (SED) requires careful planning and implementation of evidence-based approaches. The Central East MHTTC assists regional state and/or community learning collaboratives to transform systems and programs through intensive technical assistance and training, resulting in strategies to remove policy, funding, and system barriers that impede recovery and improve outcomes.
