At Least Four-in-Ten U.S. Adults Have Faced High Levels of Psychological Distress During the COVID-19 Pandemic

According to a recent Pew Research Center study, 41% of American adults reported at least one instance of intense psychological distress between March 2020 and September 2022. This distress is also strongly related to disability status and income.
