ARC for Educators: A Training of Trainers Series

Winter cohort applications are now closed.

The Adult Resilience Curriculum (ARC) for Educators is a tried and tested model for helping educators and their organizations overcome barriers to well-being. You’ve seen the curriculum in action in the Mid-America MHTTC’s popular series Well-Being Wednesdays: Taking Care of Educators Who Take Care of Kids and across all of our well-being programming — and it has yielded numerous requests for training and technical assistance from schools and districts across the country.

Now, you can take the curriculum back to your school!

ARC for Educators: A Training of Trainers virtual workshops are intended for school, district, educational agency, or state-level teams interested in implementing the ARC for Educator framework within their schools or districts. The series will:

  • Provide an overview and foundation of the ARC for Educators framework;
  • Introduce trainers to the materials for both the core and supplemental skills; and
  • Provide time for implementation planning.

Teams should include 4-8 members, including persons responsible for implementing the program in your school, district, or agency. Team members might belong to the school mental health team or well-being team and can include, but are not limited to, educators, school psychologists, school counselors, school social workers, mental health clinicians, and administrators. We strongly recommend that teams include at least one leader or decision-maker, even if this person will not be leading curriculum delivery. In the event of space limitations, preference will be given to teams in HHS Region 7 (Nebraska, Iowa, Kansas, and Missouri) and Project AWARE Grantees.
