The 2020 Mid-America School Mental Health Learning Community kicks off in a matter of weeks. This program is closed to selected teams from schools and districts across HHS Region 7.

 

If you are participating in the Learning Community, please mark your calendars for the following virtual training sessions. From January through April, the sessions will be held from 1-2 p.m. Central Time on the fourth Tuesday of each month.

 

  1. Jan. 28: Overview of Regional Learning Community and SHAPE System
  2. Feb. 25: Understanding Data: Moving Toward Action
  3. March 24: Special Training Topic: Action Planning
  4. April 28: Special Training Topic: Action Planning

 

One-day in-person technical assistance/training visits will be scheduled for summer 2020.

We are accepting applications for our Mid-America School Mental Health Learning Community.

 

The Learning Community is a 6-month program focused on improving state and district capacity to implement effective multi-tiered systems of school mental health support. Based on input from our region's state leaders, this intensive learning opportunity is uniquely focused on the region's needs and interests.

 

The deadline to fill out your application for the Learning Community is Thursday, October 31. You can find more information on the Learning Community and how to apply in our Request for Applications. Please also watch the recorded webinar below for additional information.
