Fall series to address supporting LGBTQIA+ students

The Mid-America MHTTC is launching a new series this fall — Supporting the Mental Well-being of LGBTQIA+ Youth in Schools.
Webinar topics will include foundational backgrounds on gender development, as well as individual sessions diving into the best practices of serving LGBTQIA+ youth in each tier of the multi-tiered system of support. The series will wrap with a panel discussion on context paralysis and legislation.
Sessions will take place Aug. 25, Sept. 8, Sept. 22, Oct. 6, and Oct. 20. Stay tuned to the Mid-America MHTTC's website, newsletter, and social media channels for more updates!
