Overview
Classroom Well-Being Information and Strategies for Educators, or Classroom WISE, is a free three-part training package that assists K-12 educators in supporting the mental health of students in the classroom. Developed by the Mental Health Technology Transfer Center (MHTTC) Network in partnership with the National Center for School Mental Health (NCSMH), this package offers evidence-based strategies and skills to engage and support students with mental health concerns in the classroom.
We invite building, district, regional, and state-level teams with interest in or plans to implement Classroom WISE to apply to take part in a regional learning community from October 2021 through June 2022. Promoting Educator Mental Health Literacy: A Mid-America MHTTC Regional Learning Community will focus on introducing leadership teams to the Classroom WISE content, planning for implementation and roll-out, and aid in supporting implementation for teams that have already started.
