May is Mental Health Awareness Month
Publication Date: May 01, 2023
May is National Mental Health Awareness Month (MHAM). The overarching mission of the Southeast Mental Health Technology Transfer Center (MHTTC) is to develop and share resources on the topic of public mental health. This is especially timely during the month of May as we join a national movement to raise awareness about mental health and highlight the great work of our center, the MHTTC Network, and the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA). Below are a few ways to join us in raising awareness this month:
- Attend one of the Southeast MHTTC's Upcoming Events
- Attend the MHTTC Network's RACE (Raising Awareness Commemoration Event) for Mental Health on May 10, 2023
- Review our featured resources
- Review a collection of Southeast MHTTC resources based on Topic Area
- Follow us on Twitter, like us on Facebook, or subscribe to our Youtube channel
- Check out relevant resources from other organizations including SAMHSA, Mental Health America (MHA), and National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI)
