The Trauma Informed Conference presented by Northwestern College provides training for Pre-K-12 school administrators, counselors, teachers, education support staff, social workers and anyone else who works with others who have experienced trauma. Training sessions help participants gain a better understanding of the impact of traumatic events and behavior outcomes in students, and learn the most current strategies and tools needed to create a trauma-informed learning environment. Mid-America MHTTC faculty trainer Hannah West, PhD, will present, Addressing School Mental Health Through MHTTC: A Spotlight on Crisis Prevention and Intervention.
