Each year millions of Americans face the reality of living with a mental illness. The COVID-19 pandemic has exacerbated stressors and had a significant impact on the mental health of people of all ages. Now, more than ever, we cannot underscore the importance of raising awareness, reducing stigma, and supporting each other. In honor of Mental Health Awareness Month we highlight several national events and feature organizations working diligently to offer resources, provide support, and advocate for policies that support people with mental illness and their families.
