Welcome, September!

This is a busy month for us at the Mid-America MHTTC. We are excited for our next set of learning community meetings, trainings, conferences, and the continuation of series like Supporting the Mental Well-being of LGBTQIA+ Youth in Schools and Decolonizing Training and Supervision: Implementing a Culturally Responsive Model of Training.

September is often known as back to school season. In this newsletter, you'll find an assortment of resources for educators as they take on this new school year. We hope the 2023-24 academic year is your best one yet!

Additionally — September is National Suicide Prevention Month and National Recovery Month. As always, if you or a loved one are experiencing a crisis, know that help is available with 988. We have included resources in this email to help spread the word about these important observances.
