Building on the information presented in September, this session will address more advanced topics related to supporting grieving students, including: 1) the unique challenges of supporting grieving preschool-age and college students; 2) providing support when death occurs in the context of a major school crisis; and 3) professional self-care for those providing support to grieving students. The session will also review the principles of commemoration and memorialization in school and community settings.
