Future Directions for Coordinated Specialty Care

The 2020 Southwest First Episode Psychosis Conference took place virtually on August 3rd through the 5th.

In this presentation, Dr. Nev Jones, assistant professor in the Department of Psychiatry at the Morsani College of Medicine, University of South Florida, builds on the foundation already in place in Coordinated Specialty Care (CSC) and early intervention in psychosis services and dives into three areas of future innovation: sustaining the benefits of CSC involvement over the long term; strengthening attention to structural adversity, race & culture; and fully leveraging 'lived experience' involvement, including peer support, in order to transform clients' experiences and outcomes.
